Yantras & Yoga Weekend Retreat with Sarah Tomlinson

Sarah Tomlinson is an internationally acclaimed   (Yantra teacher and practitioner), yoga teacher and artist, with renowned fans across the globe including Elena Brower and Sharon Gannon, co-founder of Jivamukti Yoga. Sarah worked extensively with her mentor Harish Johari in India, he initiated her into the spiritual practice of painting Yantras.  She is a Sri Vidya student, with the lineage of her Sri teacher: Sri Amritananda of Devipuram.  Sarah is the author of Coloring Yantras, (Shambhala Publications, 2017), Nine Designs for Inner Peace, (Destiny Publishing, 2008) and creator of the Yantra Oracle Deck, (2017).  Sarah resides in England and  leads retreats and Yantra workshops around the world and enjoys lots of time by the ocean with her husband and two young boys. Tentative Schedule of Events: 

Friday, October 18th  4pm-8pm

Siri Jyoti Ritual:  Learn about the Sri Yantra, the blueprint of the cosmos.  We will create the Sri yantra with use of flowers, fruits, grains and lights. 

Saturday, October 19. 9am-6pm

9-10:30am -  Vinyasa Yoga with Sarah 

11am-6pm -  Create Your Own Yantra -  You will select (or it will select you) the yantra that you will learn how to draw and paint.  You will discover the mantra specific for your yantra and learn your specific meditation practice associated with it.  This will be an inviting environment, set up to share in community and sharing.  We will have chai, snacks provided throughout the day and a bit of lunch. 

Sunday, October 20, 9am-4pm 

9-10:30am- Vinyasa Yoga with Sarah 

11am-2pm -  Yantra Painting (continued)

3pm-5pm -  A Sacred Fire Ceremony 

$360 for the weekend, $180 one day ticket (Friday or Saturday), or $36 for individual events (Siri Jyoti, Yoga, or Sacred Fire)
