Special THANK YOU to all our supporters, donors, and volunteers for a successful 2023. Madhukara is continuing to grow and serve our community in new ways.
In 2023, we raised nearly $17,000 from 60+ individual donors. These open-hearted donations helped us create the following miracles for individuals in need:
1,488 individual meals at the LSS Faith Mission of Fairfield County (OH) and Faith Mission Columbus plus hundreds of grab and go food items.
Provide 12 individuals with much needed medical supplies not covered by insurance including medications, wound care supplies, and lymphedema garments.
Provide a moving van + movers to an individual with medical issues to assist her family to move to a new apartment.
Pay the electric, water, gas, phone, and internet bills to 10 individuals/families.
Personalized groceries and home supplies for 4 families in need.
Provide small appliances including microwaves and dehumidifiers to two families.
Housing assistance in the form of rent, deposits, and/or emergency hotel stays for 10 individuals/families in need.
Provide 90 children’s stockings with toys and 31 gift boxes for the families at CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Abuse during Christmas.
Provide a single mother unable to work due to injuries a complete Christmas with individualized gifts for her 3 children.

We have big goals for 2024 including serving up to 1,000 meals per month through the local shelters and direct meals to families in need. We are adding new shelters to our meal program, including providing brunch at Star House, a drop in shelter for young adults experiencing homelessness. We will be expanding our permaculture farm to grow fresh, local, nutritious food to share with those in need in our community. And with the help of direct and corporate donations, we’ll be able to create even more miracles for those who need a little help to get back on their feet in order to live full, happy lives.
