WHAT IS GURU PURNIMA?
A day to honor the Guru
Guru Purnima is a sacred day in the Vedic tradition honoring the Guru — the teacher who guides us from darkness into light. "Purnima" means full moon, and this festival falls on the full moon that holds the highest spiritual significance of the year.
At Madhukara, we celebrate Guru Purnima as a time to remember and give thanks for the lineage that shapes our mission — Sri Kaleshwar, Shirdi Sai Baba, and the teachers who came before them.
You don't need to share our spiritual background to join us. All are welcome.
