Stella has the personality of a golden retriever + the same color. She is always happy to see us and comes running to greet us while she's ranging. She is near the top of the pecking order. A sweetheart for sure!

She was hatched in a 3rd Grade Classroom in Canal Winchester, OH and named for her bright, golden feathered head. She needed a forever home and we happily adopted her. She was raised by kids as an only chick so she prefers humans to chickens...for now. 

Sweet and gentle are two words to describe Miss Daisy. The best is when she lays her head on your shoulder for a duck hug, that is if you can catch her first. She runs, not waddles, fast!

She is one of our Golden Girls and lays light green eggs. She is inseparable from her sisters, Blanche and Rose. The three are always foraging together. Once she's out of the coop and run, she never wants to go back in.

When visiting the coop, you can be sure that Nancy will come over to greet you. She's easy going and affectionate and has always enjoyed being held, even as a small chick. There is no hiding the grub container from Miss Nancy!

Like her Stranger Things namesake, she's always "running up that hill." She never is still, always on the move and doesn't mind her alone time and private space while free ranging. 

Violet is the dominant duck. She knows what she wants, when she wants it and is not afraid to tell you. She will not be ignored. She is very outgoing and curious. The one thing she desires most is clean water for her frequent dips in the pool. She has the most beautiful iridescent black feathers.

Named after DC's Harley Quinn she often teams up with her Brahma sister, Ivy. A beautiful hen with feathers also on her legs and feet as if she is wearing fluffy pants and boots. She is calm, gentle, but quite a presence, like a teddy bear. 

Miss Selina is one of the most personable hens in the coop. She loves attention, being held, and will always pose for the camera. She's small but full of spirit and has no problem challenging the ducks 3x her size to protect her brood mates.

Unlike her namesake from The Matrix, Trinity is mild mannered with her head in the clouds. She is never looking for a fight and is near the bottom of the pecking order. It takes her some to catch on to what is going on around her.  Yet, she's docile, loving, and would make a great mother if given the opportunity.
